Hello Friends!
Today I have another quick and easy single layer card to share with you using the Meant to Be Stamp set and the Be Mine Stitched Framelit Dies. I grabbed some Lovely Lipstick, Balmy Blue and Whisper White for this card. Love these colors together!
I took the lined heart stamp and inked it up using versamark and stamped it down randomly to create my own background. I made sure to turn the hearts each time so that they were going in different directions, to give it that random feel I was looking for. I heat embossed using white embossing powder. I die cut four different sized hearts out using the Be Mine Framelits dies so that I could make a little cluster of hearts, to be my focal point. The largest heart was cut in Lovely Lipstick and I ran that through the new Lace Dynamic embossing folder to give it some texture. The 2nd largest heart was die cut from whisper white and what I did was I took another smaller sized heart and stamped it all up in balmy blue ink, using the same lined heart and stamping again in a random pattern. And for the baby heart, it was die cut out of some paper that I had recently created using whisper white cardstock, reinkers and the smoosh technique. You will see more of that in upcoming posts. I adhered all of my hearts on top of one another the way I wanted them and put that baby pink heart on some dimensionals and set it aside. I took a small strip of whisper white, stamped the sentiment and inked around the edges in balmy blue and stamped the little heart in flirty flamingo. I adhered this down to the middle of the card and then adhered my heart cluster down on top! I also made the matching envelope and now this card is ready to be mailed! Pretty cute! I like it! :)
